FERMONT, CA: Cannabis is beginning to gain attention from international investors, scientists, and entrepreneurs due to its benefits to the healthcare industry and the opportunities it creates. Cannabis is still an unexplored area, making it difficult to objectively assess the plant's potential. Cannabis, particularly hemp, was noticed as an essential element in manufacturing industrial products like textiles and ropes. Presently, the use of cannabis plants has multiplied due to technological developments in the world. The normal public attitude, legislation, or lack of awareness plays a vital role in the cannabis industry. This does not stop the cannabis believers, who keep increasing bets on the plant ahead of legislation.

Cannabis, as a plant, has diverse types of flowers–marijuana and hemp look very much alike. Hemp, however, contains as small as 0.3 percent of the psychoactive chemical THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) and primarily cannot have any important effects on the human body. The first house built with hempcrete, a carbon-neutral building block made of hemp, was constructed in 2019 by the Dutch company DunAgro Hemp Group. Hemp is still considered illicit to grow and sell in several parts of the world because of its resemblance with the marijuana flower. However, nearly 30 countries, including Greece, Romania, France, Slovenia, and Turkey, allow commercial production of hemp.

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) & cannabidiol (CBD) are the two most debated elements, or cannabinoids, which can be found in different strains of marijuana. Depending on the ratio of the marijuana strain, the effect on the human body is different. Although there are still scientific arguments, THC is said to have psychoactive properties which generate the high effect of cannabis. It is also utilized for people who are toiling with physical pain, insomnia, and depression. But they can make people overly anxious. In contrast, CBD strongly influences mood, and psychoses can be a stimulant in small and monitored doses.

Except for cultivation devices, some companies develop apps and software that support cultivators monitor the growth and quality of their cannabis.
